Nagyon izgalmas nyár elé nézünk! Mint már bizonyára olvastátok, a GUT-ban tavaly év vége felé elindult műhelymunka eredményeként az idei évtől kísérleti színházként működünk tovább, több műhelyformában.

Már tavaly elindítottuk a GUTbook sorozatot, amelyben kortárs művészeti könyveket jelentetünk meg. Idén útjára indult a GUTpodcast sorozatunk is, és létrehoztuk a Non-Deterministic Theatre formanyelvet, amely ebben a formában egyedülálló színházi kísérlet.
Nemcsak a színházi formanyelv megújítására teszünk kísérletet, hanem arra is, hogy párbeszédek és performance-ok formájában új hangot keressünk a művészet XXI. századi megnyilvánulásaihoz. Ehhez új, az eddiginél sokkal tágabb keretre van szükségünk. Ezért augusztusban elhagyjuk az állandó, XX. századi értelemben vett tradicionális színházi keretet, és nyitunk a XXI. századi, rugalmasabb, formabontóbb működési formák felé, nagyobb hangsúlyt kap az online és a nemzetközi színtéren való jelenlét.

A very exciting summer lies ahead of us! As you have probably already read, as a result of the workshop work that began at GUT towards the end of last year, from this year on we will continue operating as an experimental theatre, in several workshop formats.
Last year we already launched the GUTbook series, in which we publish contemporary art books. This year our GUTpodcast series also began, and we created the language of Non-Deterministic Theatre, which in this form is a unique theatrical experiment.
We are not only attempting to renew theatrical language, but also to seek a new voice for the 21st-century manifestations of art through dialogues and performances. For this, we need a new framework, much broader than before. Therefore, in August, we will leave behind the permanent, traditional theatrical framework understood in a 20th-century sense, and open towards more flexible, more form-breaking 21st-century modes of operation, with greater emphasis placed on our presence online and on the international scene.
